COURSE OVERVIEW

During the Scrum Master Certification course we will share insights and strategies from decades of success training people to become high-performing Scrum Masters and Scrum teams in businesses around the globe. COURSE OUTLINE
Through a combination of discussions, hands-on exercises, and review of real-world case studies from across a diverse set of industries, you will experience first-hand the impact of the Scrum framework and the importance of the Scrum Master role.
Participants will gain an understanding of Agile Values and Principles, as well as practical knowledge working with Product Backlogs, Sprint Backlogs, KanBan boards and Burndown charts.
Over the 2 days we will cover:
A Scrum and Agile overview
Scrum Framework, Events & Roles
Time-boxing, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Sprint Backlog
Formats to run effective: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Refinement, Reviews and Retrospectives
Understanding User stories, Epics and Themes
Forecasting and estimation
Product Backlog refinement and prioritisation using the Definition of Done
Release Planning and the Enhanced Release Burndown chart
How to transition a team to Scrum using the Transition Backlog
How to foster self-organising teams

CERTIFICATION
This course will prepare attendees for the Scrum Master Certified (SMC™) certification exam.
Post the program, participants may register to undertake the 2 hour online examination which comprises of 100 multiple choice questions.
Exams are administered by ScrumStudy and the cost of the exam is included in the course fee.

This training is for all levels of Scrum experience. There are no prerequisites.
