Change management is now a core organisational capability, not a support function. Organisations that handle change well do so because their people understand how change lands, on individuals, teams and the wider organisation, and know how to work with that rather than around it. The Practitioner course takes that grounding further. Where Foundation builds understanding, Practitioner focuses on application, working through real-world scenarios and developing the judgement to use change frameworks inside live programmes.

Practitioner runs across two days and follows on from Foundation. Participants work through scenario-based material, applying the Change Management Body of Knowledge to realistic situations. The exam is open book and included in the course fee. The Practitioner qualification is valid for five years, after which a re-registration exam is required to maintain Registered status.

The course covers applying change approaches in complex environments, managing stakeholder resistance, embedding change in programme structures, and demonstrating the impact of change activity on outcomes.
